Administration

At DSBC we are serious about serving Christ as we seek to follow in the footsteps of our Servant King!  Included in this section you will find lots of different ways in which you can practically serve.  First off, there’s administration.  If you are gifted in the area of administration, then please come and speak to us – there are many tasks which we need help with.

Catering Team

The catering team works hard to provide regular lunches and special events as we share fellowship with each other over food.  Some of the special events we cater for include the Seniors Meal and the Christmas party.  We have a good pool of helpers that we call on to help us with baking and washing up – but there’s always room for more!  At DSBC we also share tea & coffee after the morning services and the catering team organise the rota for this.

Communion Preparation

At the very heart of our worship as a church is the partaking of the Lord’s Supper; and we very much appreciate the work of the ladies who prepare the bread and the wine on the first Sunday morning of the month and the third and fifth Sunday evenings of the month.

Fabric

We are always on the lookout for people to help in the maintenance & improvement of the church facilities.  If you are skilled in DIY, we can definitely make use of your talents!

Flower arranging

Week by week, our flower arranging team consistently turn out flower arrangements which help beautify the sanctuary.  These flowers are then distributed amongst the fellowship.

Stewarding/Welcoming

There are many opportunities to serve in this important ministry as we seek to provide a loving & caring environment as we come to worship the Lord.
